Privacy Policy

Last updated August 2026

Toronto Jamming Culture (“TJC”, “we”, “us”) runs this website to share information about our live music events and to let members create an account, book tickets, and manage their bookings. This page explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and (if you register with a password) a securely hashed version of your password - we never store your password in plain text. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address, and profile photo with us; we do not receive your Google password. When you book a ticket for a paid event, payment is processed directly by Stripe and we do not receive or store your card details.

How we use your information

We use your account information to let you log in, hold your ticket bookings, and communicate with you about events you’ve registered for. We do not sell your personal information to third parties or use it for advertising.

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in after you log in or register. We don’t use tracking or advertising cookies.

Sharing

We share information only with the service providers that make the site work: our hosting provider, and Stripe for payment processing on paid events. These providers only receive what they need to do their job.

Your choices

You can ask us to update or delete your account information at any time by emailing us at contact@torontojammingculture.com.
